Our Mission:
The Family Center is solely dedicated to eliminating and preventing child abuse and neglect so that every child is valued, nurtured and kept safe.

For over 25 years, The Family Center has served the Charlotte metro area. We work in partnership with families, schools, churches and other organizations to treat not just the child, but the family as well.

Through prevention, intervention, education and treatment, we fight the battle to eliminate child abuse and neglect - and save lives.

  

Our Programs:
The Family Center offers a variety of programs designed to protect children, to provide support, to educate and to strengthen families and communities. Our services range from clinical therapy to adolescent parenting classes to a residential group home for children who have been abused or neglected. Another program is TreeTops, a camp in Lancaster County, SC., which offers the overnight camping experience to children at risk for abuse and neglect.

Last year, The Family Center provided hope, through education and treatment, for almost 9,000 neglected and abused children and their families in our community. The Family Center is a place Where Hope Grows.
