The Organization
Beads for Needs Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization that
coordinates an annual Mardi Gras-themed fundraiser to benefit Charlotte
children's charities.
The Mission
Beads for Needs' mission is to contribute to the intellectual, social
and psychological development of underprivileged children in the
Charlotte community by raising funds and awareness for nonprofits that
provide positive developmental opportunities through effective programs
and initiatives. Each year, Beads for Needs selects one local
organization as its charity partner.

The Event
Beads for Needs recreates the atmosphere of New Orleans' French Quarter
in downtown Charlotte on the Thursday before Fat Tuesday each year.
Guests enjoy live music, a variety of fantastic foods and beverages,
and countless strands of beads.all for a good cause.
